Trish Orchard grew up in New Jersey where the ocean, rivers, and country farms inspired her love of nature. Her love of art led her to pursue painting at the Pratt Institute in New York City. After a thirty-five year career in advertising, Trish returned to her passion for art with additional instruction at the Carnegie Museum of Art and the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts. Orchard’s paintings have been exhibited in national and international juried shows and her work is represented in various corporate and private collections. Trish had been an active member of Pittsburgh Outdoor Painters and the Plein Air Painters of Mendocino. She has participated in the annual Mendocino Open Paint Out for eleven years. Orchard’s work is represented by The Highlight Gallery in Mendocino.
